  • @tarnshadowhawk "continued" It is an expression of my love for God and the recognition of His love for me. It is the recognition of God's existence giving purpose to life, without which there is no reason to be good, bad, or indifferent, as life would be but a pointless journey from birth to dust. It is an expression of joy in the living of this life, even when it seems hard and unfair, for I have yet to fail to learn from adversity. How was that Sarah? We can continue if you like.

  • @SarahPalinQuit It is a hard word to put hard definitions to. I will do my best. As I am a Christian, although not the kind I would hold up to the world and say "look at me" I will tell what it means to me. It is an offering up of thanks to God for helping me thru life, one day at a time. It is also a request for intercession during bad times or time of confusion, or thanks for learning experiences, even when unpleasant. It is an expression of the connection I feel between me and God. "continued"

  • @tarnshadowhawk what is "prayer?"

  • remarkable

  • Love it! I will be showing my kids this to make sure they know the true reason why they recite this everyday! Thanks Red!

  • boy was that good...under in school...and so much was saying holds true for today

it is sad ow nothing canges since red days

  • Rememberin 911~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • I grew up in the same town Red did, and I remember him doing this LIVE on television when I was a kid.

They should play this on 9-11 every year forever.

  • Isn't it amazing how wonderful it sounds when explained like this. And it should be a prayer even if it isn't. This country needs all the prayers it can get.

  • it would be more than a pity, Red. it's an outrage
