@STATUSthesleepers Yep. According to Roy, it started when he was just starting out and there wouldn't be mics on his whole kit, so he had to play harder and louder, so he finally started playing with the butts to get maximum volume, and it just became comfortable for him. I sometimes prefer playing with the butts as well. SO much volume and attack!
