The Slowest Chocobo Ever! (From Kalm)

You know when you talk to the Kalm Traveller to give him an item, and he gives you a Gold Chocobo to adopt, right? At first I thought it was a very generous gift, but then I noticed that there's a huge catch to it!

The chocobo sucks at racing probably more than the bad Chocobos you can catch near the Chocobo Farm. As you can see it only has 29 speed and 100 stamina - I think that's a world record for the lowest stats ever! It's so bad that even Class C racing is way too much for the poor old thing. Only God knows how on earth it's possible to breed a Gold Chocobo with such low stats! (As far as chocobo breeding goes: Even if you let all your chocobos have crap attributes, your gold chocobo - let alone its parents- will NEVER have stats this bad.)

You might notice it's not Cloud Racing, but Tifa. It was just a coincidence that when I started recording, she wanted to try out chocobo racing. And don't mind Cloud's name at the end, I was just messing around. :p No insult intended by it.

I always went for chocobo breeding myself as well, but I was just curious about the Kalm Gold chocobo so I tried it out and...yeah, hopefully others who are curious will see this and won't end up with a slow chocobo!

I struggle like mad to see how this can possibly be adequate reward for beating the second-hardest boss in the game.

@MonsterDany I get the same problem with my FF7 PC game. I know of no way to fix it, so you'll just have to tolerate it.

btw i baught it at the Playstation Store for the PS3

@2PacOnSky Thats messed up. Are you playing the PS version? I know the PC version is glitchy as hell but I've never had that problem on the ps. Don't really know what to say.

I know but i cant climb up that rock at the point where the group splits up (where you have to choose between left and right)

@2PacOnSky The only way you wouldn't be able to get out of the crater is if you decided to fight Jenova.

And i have to breed a Gold Chocobo again, because i used that stupid savecrystal and used it at the point in the northcrater where the group splits up......

i was so close to getting the master materias and beating the weapons...-.-

NEVER EVER USE THE SAVE CRYSTAL!!!
