My 04' P71 tops out at 135. HD Alternator, HD Brakes, External Oil Cooler, Transmission Cooler, Police Driveshaft.

@papershow I bet P71 crown vics could top out at 160ish at stock. They have heavy duty alternaters, and better idle speed then the civillian crown vics.

@papershow well the engine in a cop car, IS stock. its the ECM that isnt. (vs civilian models)

@mark0101 get your hands on a police ecm from a p71 crown vic ( same vehicle / ford panther platform. . merc grand marquis, ford crown vic, and lincoln towncar) it will remove the limiter. you can usually find those ecm's on ebay lol. if you cant find one locally. that is IF you wish to do so :)

@HISTORYQWERTY48 Just to show off that the car can chirp its wheels I guess. When I did it, it was faster for the car to shift by itself. Chirping the tires is fun though.

I thought that the Lincoln Town Car goes up to 120 mph or faster.
