I remember randomly turning up to one of Immi's early gigs (back when she was promoting her first single, "Getting Scared" and the I Megaphone album in the late 90's)... when she played "Rake It In" she had someone else playing keyboards, and when it came to the screaming part she actually leapt headlong into the audience and started screaming into people's faces! Given that she was dressed in more of a cyberpunk ensemble with dreadlocks and flying goggles, the impact was that much more powerful

aw I remember the very, very first time I heard Rake It In, and the screaming part in the middle just made me jump out of my skin! I never knew a song could move that much! I was shaking all over afterwards, totally freaked out. It wasn't because it was loud, really, but the combination of sounds and twisted melodies were just geniusly put together, giving off so much emotion. So artistic. Love you Imogen!
btw, AMAZING piano work in this!!!
