  • I am an instructor of your son. I am a 3rd degree black belt which is an instructor level at Grandmaster Cho's school. Grandmaster Cho is an 8th degree black belt and has been teaching for 33 years in Houston, TX, U.S.A. I've been training at his school for 16 years. Every year, at Cho's annual Black Belt December Demo, I plan to vertical split board breaking technique just to make sure I'm still flexible enough. 59 isn't that old if I keep myself in condition.-Peace, Mo

  • One question, is this a pattern of ITF or WTF? Cause it's really different from the pattern that I do.

  • @TONI51195Z It is ITF. Even within a system like ITF, different schools will have slightly different details emphasized. Learning general moves is good from DVDs or YouTube, but then check with your own instructors or school for details specific to their "style". _Mo

  • Why do you wrap your arm up and across your body before you bring it down for a block?

  • @careyherbert The action is called chambering. It allows a person to practice the full range of motion for that particular block. It also stretches and strengthens more muscle. Hope that answers your question. -Mo
