Orange Broadband (Should be renamed to Orange Worse Than Dial Up Internet) Speed Test (UpTo 8Meg)

This is my upto 8Mbps Orange Home Broadband package. My previous provider used to provide me with at least 2Meg and my line has an "Attainable download rate" of 3751kbps. But will orange give me even a 1/5th of that? No!

As you can see, i would actually be better of with Dial-Up! Orange has been voted the worst ISP again by BBC Watchdog! Do not use Orange Broadband. You have been warned

I would just like to point out, this vodeo took 28 Mins to upload! And it is 25MB in size

Check it in the test socket, could be a problem with your house or phone line

The line was fine, i got about 2.8Mb from my previous provider and even had BT engineers visit who couldn't solve the problem. Running a test on speedtester.bt.com said my average is 2.9Mb so Orange was obviously throttling me or something... It doesnt matter now anyway, ive got cable and actually get what i pay for :)

agreed man they are terrible they slowed me down because ive gone over the limit on my unlimited package, bastards, it took 10 mins to load the damn video!! I called customer service but all i got was "alibaba dingaling" indian voices!!! urrrrhh im so mad!

How much did you download to go over the FUP? Ive downloaded about 300GB with them this month, but only cause ive left them and my account is set to close in 3 more days haha. Loving my new internet, i actually get what i pay for :)

Never get orange there tech support based in India can't speak much English and reading there lines off a piece of paper I had one guy on the phone telling me he couldn't understand a thing I was saying the cheek of it!!!!!!

orange broadband block file share sites and anything else they dont like. you use the internet how and when they like. and for this priv you have to pay them.

im going to cancel my subscription as soon as I am out of contract and make sure not to go with them even if they change their name, wannado crap naahh just orange shite.

O dear :(, I am currently in the process of switching to Orange Broadband from BT, Not had any problems with BT, Just that Orange are cheaper becuase i got a Phone Contact with them.

I think i will have to reconsider now lol, with all these complaints i am seeing all over the net.
