Ed Walkers Drive-In Home of the 5 Pound Burger

This week I'm in Fort Smith. It's just a short trip south on Interstate 540, but it's the only place you'll find the one, the only Ed Walkers Drive-In.

It's been in business in the same spot for 66 years and whatever they're doing, it's working. Ed Walker turned an old gas station into a restaurant back in 1943 and he owned it until he died in '59. Since then, the little drive in has changed hands several times all the way up until 2006 until current owner, Ted Cserna took over.

They also happen to have a 5 POUND BURGER! I thought I'd seen big burgers before--but I was wrong.

You've got to see it to believe and here's your chance.

I've been to ed walker's quite a few times and ive nwver seen a 5lb burger on the menu. they have a 2.5lb. burger on the menu and the french dip sandwich is excellent too.
