Mate- I just hoped your Grandma was stoked with this. I hope one day that when my grandkids get to your age they would do this for me- it would be the greatest gift ever.
I know the lab is is important- but don't neglect your organ playing either. I used to dream of playing like this- now I have a good instrument available to play on at age 60 I am too old!!
Keep the dream alive keep playing mate!

I'd say the only "mistake" you made was calling the piece a "SONG." However, for that you are forgiven!

My God boy PLAY...PLAY I SAY! If God had given me a gift such as yours I would never have to look for happiness again. Please don't give up your lessons.

@sondasam Carry on what you are doing young man and enjoy every second of it and to hell with the scorners. I'm a brass player and I envy you so much because I would love to be able to even find my way around an organ keyboard. You have a talent, and whether you use it for your own pleasure or to please others is entirely your choice, but whatever..Ignore the talentless detractors, if they want a professional performance, go buy a f**in' ticket to hear it..!

Too much latent talent there to stop, get back at it mate.

You play GREAT - oh, a little rusty, as you said, but you can get rusty on a piece like the Boellman pretty quickly. I was puzzled by your tempo change entering the coda, though. But the only thing I winced at was your description of it as "a song". It's a piece, not a song. Songs have *lyrics*. I really like your "fire" in playing, and I agree with another commentator here - get back at it! The world can use that kind of talent on the bench!

Who cares about tempo, those pipes sound fucking awesome

That was amazing!

Good job on a very difficult piece! Nice Virgil Fox tempo. Hopefully the lab won't keep you from the organ for long, you seem to have a talent for it.
This was very enjoyable. Having access to a magnificent instrument is a gift; being able to sit down and play something is fun beyond description. The naysayers and negative nellies are the reason the arts are dying. Who wants to subject themselves to criticism when they are learning? Should they be denied the opportunity to share their joy and musical expression just because somebody too self-important does not know the first thing about building someone up? Do us amateurs a favor and shut up.

@KPO6859 I feel the same way. I know this is not perfect. None of my videos are. I don't understand the bitterness on so many organ videos on here. So many sad people trying to boost their confidence by cutting down amateurs? Who knows. I play because I love it. I'm a medical student though. People should not expect my videos to be "professional." I try my best with the time I have.
In short, thank you :)
