On a side note, what do you normally feed your canary and how many times do you change the newspaper ?

It is best to use cold water. Warm water can strip the feather of natural oils. Cicero has a varied diet. Every day he gets a couple of tsps of seed, some type of fresh veggie and fruit. Broccoli, kale, carrot and yams are favorite veggies.
