"Becoming VR-savvy" is a project to allow middle school girls to collaborate with each other (and their teachers in science, arts, and technology) to design and create their own virtual worlds using the virtual reality (VR) CAVE system at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Students also had an opportunity to continue to work on their virtual worlds at the school using the VisBox, a portable 3D immersive system.
