@dvbowen39 I agree, but I would go a step further..... I don't think anyone compares to Connie she has the No1 voice to my ears, others had more exposure, headline stories and more in the public eye but to my mind Connie Smith tops em all for the true country voice.
Even today in her 60s her voice is still fabulous, hardly lost any of her clarity and strength.

Beautiful production, Connie has, from the first record, a very unique voice.
I have heard many female vocalists - excellent in there genre, But none compare with Connie Smith.
