She is a well known Norwegian Soprano...but was little known to the USA for a very long time... eventually promoters brought her to the USA to play small venues....it has been an uphill climb for this beauty....She is divorced and with two children.

I am an American and I love Sissel's voice. I do wish she was more popular here in the states. Her voice is angelic, and crystal clear. I have two of her albums and absolutely love them. Perhaps we will eventually see more of her. Peace to all, no need to put each other down. Have a good night all.

yeah... she keeps such low profile that I can't find most of her CDs/ DVDs here in Hong Kong, but that in turn became her advantage stay original and not commercialized. All the best, Sissel!
