Rakesh Chaurasia is the nephew and disciple of the legendary flautist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. Adept at playing the popular and folk music, he is equally at home in the Indian classical genre. Despite constant demands by the "Bollywood" industry for his services towards film and stage music, he has not shied away from his ambition to carve a niche for himself in the Indian classical genre. Over the last few years, he has increasingly accompanied Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia on the international classical stage that has helped to hone his skills further. Now, slowly emerging from the shadows of his illustrious uncle, from whom he has imbibed not only the generosity of spirit and humility but total dedication to his craft, he showcases his skills in this first-ever classical album.

Great indeed. Not trying to be negative towards maestro Rakesh, but hr uses even more Hariji-isms than hariji. Now a master he must find HIS own inner voice.
