The Most Dangerous Game. That story and the movie are quite similar. I mean, Ransford, the main character, is trapped on an island with a man who hunts people. Ransford is forced to play a dangerous game with him, where if you're alive after 3 days, you get to leave, whereas if you're dead, well use your imagination. Ransford sets traps to help to defeat the hunter, and in the end he escapes into the water surrounding the island in order to escape the hunter. See any similarities?
