A lot of people including very famous people have suffered from all types of dyslexia including this form but schools often were not equiped to deal with the problem. Time is changing all of that and its a good thing for everyone.

I have adhd and I have a feeling I have dyscalculia as well. I carry most of the symptoms. It took me years to learn long division, basic algebra, learn from left or right, get concepts or formulas, and I hate using hand clocks. I have trouble in college with their algebra and I can't understand the basic terms. I had to reapeat every math class I've taken or cheated my way through every class. I would stay up long endless nights pondering over a math problem and never get the answer.

I have all these problems. I have difficulty to drive mainly because cannot figure out the directions from which other vehicle come. I may think right and turn left . . I cannot calculate the area my car will cover.
difficulty to cross road. cannot figure out when the vehicle will come near. difficulty to use escalator, rope way cab. i am apprehensive of the speed. is this also because of dyscalculia or do I have some other problem as well ?

Ugh I have the same problems, sometimes with reading too. But with the grades Ive gotten so far, I cant be dyslexic. Im embarressed to even go into my math class because Im actually AFRAID of math. It takes me a while to find out the time on any clock. But Im primarily fine with direction and maps, for all that I know of. It often takes me a while to figure out a direction. My grades in math havebeen dropping so far, so I just decided to look up tips on it. And for all other symtoms, I dont have

Hey guys, this is Pauline from the dyscalculia forum. I got frightened when the picture of money showed on the screen XD. And yes, maps? Don't even go there. I'm still on the verge of being diagnosed with this. Hopefully I can get answers. Good luck to everyone!

I was diagnosed with dyscalculia last year. My mom had it when she was in college and she had to take a psychological test. My entire life was horrible trying to do math & understand it...long story short, most people DON'T have it, but those of us that have been LEGALLY DOCUMENTED as having it know the TRUE feeling. :'(

I have dyscalculia, I was diagianosed with it last year when I got retested for dyslexia. I also have auditory processing disorder, dysgraphia and ADD. At one point I was so afraid of math class I would cry before every class and when ever I said the word.

LMAO! Me too. I can't count money for crap, use digital clocks instead of the hand time clocks, never had a job,
