So basically this video is Ruffian at the hospital. She's dying and she's looking back on her life and what a great life it was. And as the music says... "It's not my time, I'm not going; there's a fear in me, it's not showing. this could be the end of me, and everything I know.... I won't go."

I have heard people say she shouldn't have raced because she wouldn't have died. But it is part of Ruffian if she never ran she wouldn't be so special. Plus i truly believe that most racehorses including Ruffian enjoy their job!

Great job, I'm old enough to remember watching that race on TV. It was like watching it all over again a few years ago when Eight Belles got injured.
