How much of a difference is there between Russian spoken in Russia (say, Moscow as a prime example) and the Russian spoken by the majority in Kazakhstan today?

@arxdeath Russia is expensive? Depends on region or city you wanna study in.
Of course if you wanna live in Moscow it will be expensive, but don't you think that there are many other cities in Russia?

@BBoyKlin Right now I cannot speak ANY Russian. I'm in Korea right now learning Korean, but when I return to my country i will start studying Russian. And yeah, I will seriously consider Kazakhstan, right now their economy is growing very fast and it's becoming an attractive destiny to study, invest, work, so, in a couple of years it will be even better. With google translators I was able to understand what you wrote, thank you very much!

I want to travel to Kazakhstan to learn Russian (that will be at least in two more years, because I have to save lots of money), cause Russia is too expensive to live. Would you recommend me to go there and study Russian?

@nocommayoucantread Thanks. After 3 years in Kazakhstan I speak Russian quite well now. You are right, there are a lot of ignorant Americans. But there are also a lot of ignorant Russians and Kazakhs, and in general ignorant people all over the world. This was only our second day learning Russian, that's why it was funny...
