Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, discusses the latest news on a potential breakthrough in an AIDS vaccine. He also comments on the Pope's recent statement about condoms, stating "It's a long time in coming. I think that we need to separate public health imperatives from religious beliefs. Condoms are clearly an important tool in preventing the spread of HIV infection." From C-SPAN's Washington Journal (11/24/10). @BillKiernan The same I thought! How can anyone seriously could have listened to this and didn't feel shocked with such a pile of bullshit! and besides that, there is no a proportion or percentage of infection, you're infected or you're not! There is no possibility that a drug can reduce 'the risk', only a vaccine could prevent it if it really the virus exists.

Transplanting somebody’s inherited gene to combat a phantom virus is ludicrous. The HIV game is nothing other than lab markers, indoctrination for life, fear based medicine, an epidemic of testing and the most sophisticated high end strategic marketing campaign ever. This news, another in a long, long series of do nothing research is all part of the religion. People are tiring of it.

Notice he kept referring to homos as "men who have sex with men", but called heterosexual men "heterosexual men". This is how far politically correct pussyfooting has gone?

@WulfBand I've had friends who died from AIDS. Your comment is terrible and you should feel terrible. Here's a sad face in emoticon form, which can never really express my vast anger and disappointment in your stupid, uneducated comment. :(

Sounds to me like someone is looking for the answer he wants.

@jx14aby yeah, i mean, i'm thinking, in order for this test to mean anything, they must have had people going around having unprotected sex and seeing if they got aids or not. i may very well be mistaken though.

"Of the individuals who took the pill, overall in the study, there was a 44% decrease in the risk of HIV infection compared to the placebo."
What a load of bullshit this guy's slinging.
