I think most media reports miss the mark on the some of the key benefits of an EV. They focus too much on the environmental aspects which are definitely good, BUT EV provide superior torque -- immediately. For example, a typical 250 HP gas car produces the peak power and torque at 6k-7k rpm.

Beautiful design and practicality with range extender. Wish they used the trunk lid for part of solar surface and added sunroof option though. It would be a great experience to drive down a windy scenic road and hear the wildlife with no rumbling from engine.

The little boot was tacky...but that's about it...great job, Fisker!

So basically, all Fisker did was put leather on a Chevy Volt and jack the price up by two. You're still 100% dependent on oil. He's no innovator, just a schmuck.
The car isn't even American if its made in Finland. Even its motors are made in China. Why is he getting government money for this?!
