Slash's mother was infact from Tennesse but was of african american decent, interestingly a costume designer for David Bowie, she sadly died recently :(, his father was indeed English but he moved to American very early in his life. I think, though i cant remmeber exactly her used to live near 'The Eagles' and would listen to them outin his garden sometimes.
