@OsakaBancho All I'm sayin', is if you have an old '70's Plymouth ex-cop car, and you're going about 40 mph and slam it into reverse, it WILL go into reverse!
Don't ask me how I know... and kids, don't ever try that on your basic car, you'll be sure to break the output shaft of the transmission.
You're probably right, though, OsakaBancho, most cars will probably lock out reverse above a certain speed.

I love how cars retained their little bits of body damage during these old car chases. Made it seem so much more real.

The '72 Torino GT had 285 hp right out of the showroom. Good numbers but the Torino was a heavy car.
