@electrogeek77 if its a film about how heroic and strong the terrorist are, then yes that would be propaganda.
If Bay uses Military alot, fine, but that doesn't make it NOT propaganda. He says himself that he portrays them in "very good light". Plus the age range this film's audience is perfect Military age...!
Don't mean to be rude, but you are aware of the meaning of 'propaganda', I take it...?
Plus, are you aware that US media (especially News) is heavily pro-US, and heavily censored.

I just got an update that people had replied to my comment, posted a year ago. Here's my response to why this video suggests the film IS complete propaganda...
Rewatch it, especially from 2:16 onwards. You can't argue that it ISN'T propaganda.

How is it being used as propaganda? Just because the military is featured in it? If terrorists are shown in a movie, is that terrorist propaganda? And for crissakes, Bay uses this kind of stuff in everything - even in a recent Victoria's Secret commercial! Really, just get over yourself.

Maby,but Michael Bay usually uses the Military in some form or another in a lot of his films too though.
