see how the tentacles wrap around the tiled floor spot..that's the spot where jackie was narrating the story in the loading screens.. and where he was in the first game in the loading screens, only 1 source of light which is and opening, tight space, no dark space, preventing him from using his power.. so he's trapped. He's going to escape soon.

Darkness III will be jackie escaping hell..or maybe it will be a DLC or whatever. Since this goes by the comics, jackie Escapes hell and confronts the angelus.
