I grew up in the hood in Buffalo, New York around alot of criminal activity but I never let the hood life discourage me from becoming successful. While growing up I always believed in myself and I dreamed of finding a good opportunity to get me out of the hood.
Growing up in the hood is definitely a struggle but if your focused you can accomplish anything. I've obtained a level of success throughout my life. After I graduated from high school I enlisted in the United States Air Force. After the completion of my military service, I enrolled at the University of Hard Knocks where I earned my bachelors degree, then I went on to graduate school at the Block Is Hot University where I earned a masters degree. Once I completed graduate school I took a job at a fortune 500 company in corporate america. I was successful in corporate america but I realized I wasn't happy with my job. In corporate america there is alot of politics, backstabbing and a lack of job security.
One day I realized corporate america was not the right place for me. I had a strong desire to start my own business and become my own boss. So I decided to make a change in my life and follow my dream of starting my own business. At a library I met someone involved in the network marketing business who was earning a six figure a year income. In the past I had heard nothing but bad stories about network marketing. This person saw my dedication and desire to be successful and they offered to take me under their wing and teach me the network marketing business the right way. I received some great training about network marketing from my mentor and once I completed my training and started my own business my mentor was a simple phone call away if I need advice or help.
Now I work full time in the network marketing business and I earn a five figure monthly salary. It feels so good to be free from a time clock because I get to wake up when I get done sleeping and I now enjoy my new life being my own boss!
