  • Sorry for this but I just don't get the point of all that torture you have to go thru to be on the team - starting the school year four weeks early, busting your hump working out and beefing up and doing stretches that kill you nearly, etc. - just to have to be a guilt-ridden, sexophobic, tee totalling bundle of nerves. Chill out, jocks. Watch Animal House. Learn.

  • It is kinda stupid to ban the Bible in school though on the other hand. I believe in freedom of speech.

  • Dude man. I went to HS in the 80s, and all the jocks at my school wanted to do was drink and chase girls. They never cracked open a Bible at all. Kids today are way too serious. Live a little of life. Get some chicks. Have a few brewskis. Be a dumb frat boy for a while. Then, when you get old like I am, you can feel guilty about it and start praying for forgiveness. Party on, kids.

  • What about your promotion of lust? Cheerleader girls are dancing for everyone to see them show off their body. This is not godly. Sports fans are usually idolaters. You are worldly. You are no Warriors for Christ.

  • I think they should be able to use bible verses. I play baseball and have Colossians 3:23 and Proverbs 16:3 on my cleats..btw the sign at beginning is wrong that's Prov. 16:3 not 16:13

  • We are getting too polictically correct in America. One person complains and the rest of us have to change? That person should just shut up and enjoy living in a wonderful country.

There should be no ban on Christian verses or the Ten Commandments or anything else being displayed in public.

  • Listen. It makes sense to now be allowed to put verses on the signs. Not everybody is Christian. For example, at my old school, at chrtistmas time, they were putting up decorations, and they were not allowed to put up anything that says "Christmas". Its a way to respect other cultures and religions.

  • @Domodeath Yes and so are many other people in hundres of other religions. I would say even more convinced than you are, since they are willing to die for their religion and follow a litteral interpretation of what they belive is their gods word (radical muslims). And you belive the bible is the word of your god and you still dont follow it (litteraly). An example of what I mean "whoever curses his father or his mother is to be put to death" Do you kill your kids if they curse at you?

  • @knuthoem85 Ha, if? I'm more sertain Jesus is the way to Heaven then I am of anything else in all of existance

  • @Domodeath But with your reasoning you are also runngin a hughe risk of not going to heaven. If your religion is right then yes given that you fill the requirments you will go to heaven. But there are thousands of other religions that are just as lightly to be true and if one of them are right you wont. Pascals wager is irrational...
