Ha...what a cutie! We perfected sit, down and stay when my guy injured his leg and couldn't run around and play for several weeks. "Stay" isn't an easy command to perfect with Whipps!!!!

handsome boy! check out my vids :) my 2 year old whippet can sit, down, stay, shake a paw and bark on command. :) not much for a 2 year old, but something eh? :D keep on working with your boy. looks good so far

Good job training him. One thing that I do with my whippet is to keep the command phrases short. Dogs understand single words not sentences. Instead of come over here...I say Come. instead of go away..Go.. etc. They will learn much faster by using single words and not sentences. Great looking Whippet!

using treats is okay if you always carry them... the bad part is that the dog will only listen when you have treats or because it thinks you have treats. Not because it respects you.. but it wants food

how old is your whippet in this video? i have a 3 months old whippet, and he knows sit, but im having a hard time with 'stay'. hes very excited and impatient.

@ph0shizle2 He's 5 months old in this video. Keep working with him. He'll get it in time. 'Stay' is a pretty easy command to teach. Make sure you use a lot of tasty treats for motivation.
