  • I have had my Studio 15 1558 for about 2 months now I really like it and would recommend it. The only problem I have is that I got the optional Blu-Ray drive and It plays 1 of my 10 Blu-Rays. I was told that I had to update the Blu-Ray which dell probably should do before they send it but w/e I updated it and now it plays no Blu-Rays and Dell has not helped me at all to fix this problem

  • @domlost14815 send me your contact information, I'll get you some help.

  • can you watch movies on this and how much does this cost

  • @MiGuElAnGeLmAcIeL1 Sure... Pricing will vary depending on what configuration options you choose. Visit the Dell website for more info.

  • HP might suck ass, but Dell does not.

Dell is one off the few reliable laptops.

    In my opinion.

  • How come my Studio boots up when I press the dell media direct button? wast it supposed to work without booting the laptop?

  • Next time I buy a laptop from Dell.. I'm going to read all of the reviews.. :/ I regret buying this laptop, the build quality sucks and the left hinge keeps detaching from it self.. I have 2 year warranty and 1 year left, I've sent my laptop again and they have fixed it, this is the second time this has happened to me.. :/

  • I bought my Dell Studio 17 6 months ago and recently, the HDD completely wonked out. The store where I bought it for ordered a new one from Dell and it's been 3 and a half weeks and it still hasn't arrived.

  • I have a dell studio 17. Within a year, I noticed a problem with the left hinge detaching from it self. I figured that it was just a small problem until the hinge detached further and now the whole left side of the frame is detached from the screen and now that I'm out of warrantee I can't get this fixed. I researched further into this and found out that this problem is common for dell. I was hoping that dell would have some sort of solution for this problem but none has been given.

  • Guys, Lenovo is a better and more stable computer. They also cost less and their Thinkpads are ruggedized. Check out my video review of a $1600 W510, equivalent in specs to a $3000 Dell M4500. It's on my channel, here:

  • Dell should hire some of hp or apples designers, I dont own a dell because they are far beyond ugly and probably never will until they start gettingit right. the ports should never be on the back unless is is a charging port or an interesting idea of a dvd drive.

  • Dell is good for service. So I choose you over HP.

  • @HowDoYouMake Anything but a Mac...

  • How's the battery holding up on this ? I have a dell studio 1537 and recently, I have decided to keep in plugged in most of the time than going thru the regular cycles of charging/decharging, charging/ decharging etc....Just wanted to know if any 1's doing wht I have started doing...

  • Cheap third table hardware.

    Unnecessary pre-loaded software.

    Overpriced products.

By experience, I recommend you not to buy products from this company.
