Song about one of my favorite musicians and the biggest joke/scam in religion I've seen in awhile. I later found out after the song was written that he was born into it. So, whatever, my bad. It's still a funny song with alittle truth in it.

maybe beck's lyrics and attitudes closely reflect scientology better than other religions. i see him as a nihlist and it makes perfect sense to me. he is actually more interested in judaism anyways.

Ah. today i decided to wikipedia one of my favorite musicians....beck. after admiring all hes accomplished i got down to personal life. Low and behold Fuckin scientology is in bold words. at this i googled beck and scientology not believing what i'd read. instead of interviews i found this song. Thank you for this song, its funny and covers exactly how i feel about beck now.

have known ever since, I don't know, several years ago. But it still bothers me how one of my favorite artist could support a goddamn cult. I'm sure that the Scientologists would be very supportive if you are a famous person with lots of money but I just expected him to be cynical enough to see through the bullshit. I often wish that I had something to believe in but it doesn't mean I will just latch on to something that isn't true just for comfort.
