I know this comment is four years old... but Romans 7 is not the Christian life. Make sure you read the context, Paul is explaining to Jewish Christians(see verse 1) and aligning with them on how the Mosaic law was only condemning him at his initial run in with it(see verse 9) once he was old enough to understand it(alive then died).
This is his past, see the end of chapter 7 to see that Paul says he's now free from that past law in flesh b/c of Christ and it goes onto chapter 8.

Not just "practice" but dependence on God's power to live. The struggles are there with sin (Romans 7) but the Holy Spirit will enable you. Read your Bible and pray regularly. Fight to know the Lord and fight sin.
