On March 16, 2008, Mars Hill Church launches its newest campus in the heart of downtown Seattle. Jesus is giving us the chance to redeem one of the most notorious nightclubs in Seattle for His glory. Join us for services at 10 AM and 6 PM every Sunday.
No, I'd just like to hear the recording. Because you and I both know it's a fair tale, and of all the crap that god supposedly tells people. (during the Hundred Years war "god" was telling both sides they were rightt)....Yes, my friend, god might talk to these guys and monkeys MIGHT fly out of my posterior, but I doubt it. We have special places in our society for people who hear voices..........so, grow up, READ the damn bible, especially Leviticus and Deuteronomy OVER and OVER,,smile...

If any one would have recorded Gods audible voice would ppl really believe it was Gods voice? Or would they say thats your voice with effects or "Why should people listen to you and not god?" God does things and doesnt do things for a reason, maybe he was able to handle Gods audible voice where as someone else wouldnt, go teli everyone they heard Gods voice and have ppl look at them like their crazy and the person starts blaming God for the rejection, emotional damage or sayin "y me ?"

Wow,
So, god speaks in an audible voice, and you won't even carry a tape recorder around and record his voice? Why would you deprive people of the experience? Why should people listen to you and not god?
But, on top of that, you delete my comments simply asking you to record god. Why?

I appreciate Mark's humor, but having listened to or watch all of his available sermons on-line it is clear he needs some new ones. The constant "Seattle has more dogs than Christians" is getting old. It reminds me of Greg Laurie who has been telling the same "Sons of thunder with chariots with flames" and "church roof top with hinges in case of rapture" jokes for over 20 years. Even Chris Rock changes his routine after a year or so.

I totally agree. I am not about jumping on some band wagon, but rather demonstrating the gospel through the traits God gave me. I just think it's funny how they all tend to be kinda alike, and there is nothing wrong with that.
As far as his methodology...I have learned a lot from Mark. I use his jokes all the time cause they are funny!

Bro,
I'm not a "hater" I just think it is funny when young guys mirror a leader's clothes, hair style etc. rather than having their own identity and distinctive way of preaching, teaching, dressing etc. I've been in the ministry for 10 years and I see cloning all the time. There is a difference between gleaning from good preachers like Mrk and trying to look & act like him... Mark is Mark, be who God made YOU to be.

ah, mark is their leader dude, it is natural for them to adopt some of his mannerisms, i doubt that theyre doing it on purpose.

Don't be a hater, be a lover! (as I adjust my brown shirt and scratch my beard)
Hehe, Paul says he is all things for all people. If we need to wear brown and have a 3 day beard it works for me.
Plus I just look good in brown, and hate shaving.

Dudes,
Is there a requirement that you have to try to be a clone of Mark in order to be a pastor at MH? Note the brown shirts, 3 day beards, same hand jesters. I watched the Titus video and the pastor was trying to use Mark's humor and did a very poor job of it. Other than that, I am a MH fan!
