Every few years I dig around to see if someone posts the original video and, well, no luck. This man had such an awesome country voice. I just don't understand how he didn't make it bigger. No one else sounds like him. What a bummer. But thank you for posting the song. It's definitely better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, lol. Listening to it is better than not seeing it OR hearing it!

Didn't they try to repackage him after his popularity (seemingly) started to drop off ? They featured him in kind of a guess who video clip where he had beefed up and was in a motorcycle jacket and boots? Or am I dreaming? Any one ?

my dad helped davis along. i remember him, rest his soul, calling me excited about "this kid"! boy he had a right to be. Great talent!
