  • Here's some good News!

I had SLAD surgery 3 mos. ago. My voice sounds a lot better and is still improving. I have been in contact with a number of people who had SLAD surgery and a couple was over 10 years ago. All are very happy with results, with SD not returning indicating permanent fix. Check out Dr. Gerald Berke, UCLA, video on youtube.

  • wow wthanks 4 this i got spasmodic dysphonia, and its ruined my life and some people dont understand it,i used to sing that lion king song aswell he he but not any more i can hardly talk its the most depressing thing in the world i had it for 18 onths now,i wish u luck and hope things get better

  • Hi, may you continue using your God given talents! My husband has or had SD Adductor and he just had surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr. Beker at UCLA California (denervation/renervation). He has no more spasm and he has a low voice, but it is supposed to get louder in about 3 months. Good luck to you!

  • Inspiring! Best wishes! I have SD too but fortunately, good botox results but no more singing. I sing in different ways now : )
