Fertility doctor Michael Tucker holds a doctorate in Reproductive Physiology and is the scientific director of Georgia Reproductive Specialists in Atlanta. After studying in vitro fertilization (IVF) and fertility problems at the University of Adelaide in Australia in the early 1980s, Dr. Tucker worked with embryological groups to standardize the technologies used in IVF and helped pioneer many of the techniques used today. Although he initially trained in physiology, zoology, and the reproductive biology of animals, the excitement surrounding IVF led him to work with human couples trying to conceive.
