@XxLyricalAssassinsxX k, i think what he is doing is playing em open so the strings which are useually barred are open, letting them ring. . . hope this helps, superfineline
someone pleeeaaase explain how he gets such a full sound from power chords!! it looks like hes strumming all the way through too! when i play the same thing he sounds nowhere as good and full. please explain..mayB diff tuning?

exactly,, just tuning a b to a c. full sound, easy play. John's voice is getting better every day. He hits more, less out of key. Thumbs up :D

he tunes the b string up to a c, thats how you get that full open sound, but not all power chords work for it, only a select few
