San Diego Sewage Waiver agreed to by Marco Gonzalez, speaking for Surfrider and Coastkeeper

Surfrider supports going along with the city's informal idea of looking at better treatment, and supports granting the waiver. They believe that granting the waiver will be the last time, but there is no guarantee, without a settlement agreement to give up the waiver, that we won't be back here in five years, asking for a waiver all over again.
Gonzalez speaks of complete recycling of the wastewater; but this laudable goal is no more than a dream without the city agreeing to give up the sewage waiver.

Marco Gonzalez said he was suing the city today if they did the 2009/2010 New Years Eve fireworks. He claimed bogus "environmental concerns." This spick dissapointed thousands of San Diegans and tourist and cost the economy THOUSANDS!
