Remember when you used to turn on the radio and the influence of that DJ could make a break the whole night. They could play some song that would make your heart skip a beat, or he could turn you on to something brand new... it would just make you wanna drive faster. Sometimes you can have that right song come on at the right time, and you just… get on your best “puppy dog” eyes and your best “kissing face”…(Jon rolling his eyes!)

And I can hear that DJ when he said to me: “This is old Johnny Knoxville talking to you from the radio station of WAPP. For you in the midnight hour we’ve got something very special, very special indeed. Seems some young pop kid came knocking on my door with a demo.. not much else… so tonight for the first time I’d like the world to know that this little “diddy” called runaway is gonna start a revolution!”

And I turned the radio up and I drove the car faster right across the big bridge next to my mother and father’s house… And I was wanting the cops to stop me so I could just say: GUESS WHAT! THAT’S ME ON THE RADIO!!!
