I think the best of the interview is that is not a very serious interview,is more like a normal conversation with him, not very technical stuff that it is easier to understand to people who don´t know much about theory.

@joaoteodosio He uses the Marshall switch pedal to get his dirty sound from the second channel of the amp (on main riffs for example), and he occasionally steps on a Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion when a solo comes up or to get an even more agressive sound. John uses in addition of this one a DS-1 Distortion and a MT-2 Metal Zone for his solos.
