  • This was really good as there aren't many serious musician interviews with Dave. Thanks so much for uploading this.

  • This is actually a very good video. Creative musician. Three days and stuff...

  • thanks 4 'deconstructing' things dave!

  • I think the best of the interview is that is not a very serious interview,is more like a normal conversation with him, not very technical stuff that it is easier to understand to people who don´t know much about theory.

  • like dave.cool player.very classic rockish.fairly basic so primitives like myself can dig it.not interested in his looks or private life.

  • The Hair metal guy interviewing him knows Dave's a faggot and so all the other 90s alt rock posrs

  • That record was thick.

  • its funny how he showed the guitar he used for One Big Mob but then he didnt use it when they performed it at the end

  • @joaoteodosio He uses the Marshall switch pedal to get his dirty sound from the second channel of the amp (on main riffs for example), and he occasionally steps on a Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion when a solo comes up or to get an even more agressive sound. John uses in addition of this one a DS-1 Distortion and a MT-2 Metal Zone for his solos.

  • Damn, One Big Mob sounds so fucking good..that tone man

  • Dave says a lot of the same things Nuno says -- stay away from instructional videos and develop your own style

  • Love the look, & the sound, of the PRS at about 2.29
