The Neocatechumenal Way was born in the 1960's in the Palomeras district of Madrid. It's often confused for a movement or a congregation, when it's actually an itinerary of catechesis to rediscover baptism and is taught under the direction of a bishop.

  • @Mirani2 .. I hear you are incredibly ignorant on the subject domestic violence and the Church's stance on civil divorce.

  • I hear this cult is incredibly sexist, and expects wives who are beaten to stay with their husbands.

  • The Catholic Church is firing up for envangilisation :))))))))))))))))

  • Kiko, Carmen and Fr. Mario are chosen as instruments of our Lord to help the Church. Despite many criticisms against them, the fact shows that what they were chosen to do is in accordance with the Will of God especially in this age. I am glad to know that as a Christian initiation, there are no founders because there is only one true founder - Jesus Christ while they are only initiators. This, I think is the mark of authenticity of the Way.

  • He is a good man, leading may good Roman Catholics faithful to the Church and back to Christ.
