@johnnyquest870 And I'm guessing part of what led to some of the confusion with this and at least one other song (which I'm not sure of the title) as far as origins might have been due to the fact main songwriter Michael Cruz worked on both Kids Inc. and Fame.

They should've kept this cast through out the entire run of the show cause this one had the best chemistry.

i was obsessed with this song!

It's funny. Every time they did a song that was from Fame, it was better... This is one of my all time favorites.

Yeah, the songs were all pre-recorded, so they lip synced. Ive also notice how they have used audio tracks to make the audience sound like a large audience at a concert.
-
Um... they all lip synched.

ryan never lip syncing only when he was sick on the show

Ryan Lambert really came into his own on this show over the years. He was consistently getting better and better through the years and this is a great representation of that. His guitar skills really added to the performance, and made the lip-syncing as real as it could be. He was very credible on this show and this was a great song for him. What a horrible mistake casting made when they signed Connie on. She's a lovely person, but so out of place....

I heard that Ryan was actually involved in the writing of this song. If so, he had some writing talent back then.
