just set it with gain at 9 o clock gain at 3 and volume at 930ish and run it into the tube pre on my crate

I was curious about this one since that it is BBE it should be cool. After seeing the video I was glad I went on and won one off of eBay. This clip showed me that it was one pedal that could fill a gap in the sonic palette that my other pedals don't do as well.

Ive got this pedal its a very nice distortion sound but i like it for a clean boost thats what i use it for.

I guess they meant like a 60's-70's Metal. Like Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, etc. I know thats different than what is considered "Metal" today, but back then thats what it was called- Metal or Heavy Metal.
