No haven't heard that yet. didn't find any data on it in pubmed.

Soda contains the same chemical that is used in antifreeze. Of course, a little poison a day won't kill you right then, but it builds up in your system over time.

I am in controlled stage 3, elderly, and I just use ginger ale or 7-up occasionally. Six months ago when I was diagnosed, I stopped all the root beer etc. thanks for the info.
