There are many hard days ahead, Many more doors I know that I must open, new freedoms I must find. These are not easy choices, these are not simple times, they are complicated and perhaps even ugly but there are changes happening which must come about if I am to live this life and take joy in it at all. Please accept me as I am, don't trap me in labels or conventions anymore, help me begin my journey to being who I want to be, to living the life I want to live and pursuing the happiness I need to find.

just smoke some weed if u got problems.. believe me.. i know that they may not get rid of them.. but trust me when i tell u this.. they will help you when u r havin a tough time..

The best of luck in your quest. I'm starting a similar one, and know how hard it is to deprogram yourself from beliefs implanted as a child.

Hey Sara - I just turned 45 yesterday and I'm also on the very emotional ride of deconversion. At times I mourn my invisable friend or the precious time wasted.
