This "outtake" was never meant for the movie either. I think you're mistaken on that. If a version of them kissing was actually considered for the movie, then where would the bee come in? It had to sting her for the rest of the story to happen.

There's no doubt in my mind that both this scene *and* the one where they hit the wall are *both* bloopers...

Um, I have an interesting fact to point out. I've seen *another* take where Mulder and Scully actually kiss, but Scully slams Mulder against the wall and they drop to the floor. I was under the assumption that that scene was on the Blu Ray Disc (I've never even seen this one before). Are there two takes of this scene that show them kissing on the Blu Ray? If not, I'd like to know where this particular take came from. :)

Yes, they were about to kiss each other when scully suddenly drops her head because a bee stung her. I haven't got yet this version but for what i've heard, this scene is on the blue ray version of the movie
