great cat! I love how cats aren't bother by instruments, except drums, I would think a banjo or a guitar would distract them but they'll sleep right through if they are tired enough

Yup, drums AND Harmonicas! Try playing a harmonica (especially lower notes)...it freaks cats out big style!!! They hate it. Every cat I've had hates that sound.....

Cool. The way I play Abe's is based on Dwight Diller's version....the clawhammer master! Will you post a clip of yourself playing it?

These are actually in Standard G tuning (with capo II). A lot of players do play these tunes in Sawmill though. Love the blacksmith quote....very cool
