@fazeel97 yes it can. I have use it in China translating from Mandarin to English an English to Mandarin. It is excellent. Sometime in long sentence English to Chinese it may get a little confusing as composing sentence in Mandarin may not be the same. I recommend building short sentences and you will get your point across.

@ryan8121 depends on which app you're getting. some apps are free and other you have to pay for. but most apps are free (:

Do apps cost anything on the droid phones? I know silly question, but I need to know before I get it!

does not work, it makes my phone shut off also! I speak german and it was unable to translate what i was saying, typing worked much better. 1/5 failed!
and i uninstalled it!!
