Enjoyed the "silent movie" experience very much! Don't go to movies much anymore, they are rotten to the core (actors, actresses, writers, directors and producers). That is why the old movies make more of a hit in the refurbished and restored theaters than the junk put out today.

"Duck Soup" was the first known instance of Stan & Ollie working together as a team, in the kind of situations they later became famous for {as noted, this was reworked into their three-reel "talkie" comedy, "Another Fine Mess"}. Mr. McDonald's score and "effects" are perfect! The audience's reaction proves that the boys never lost their power to make crowds laugh, even after 80 years!
