This is a musical sequencer made out of lego. There's a row of eight spots to put legos, representing notes. Each color is a different pitch. As blue LEDs light up along the row, each note gets played. There's a slider to control the tempo, too.

The lego sequencer was constructed by Ben Judge using the amazing LogoChip ( http://www.wellesley.edu/Physics/Rberg/logochip/ ), a PIC microcontroller running an interpreter for the easy to use logo language.

  • How much would you sell one for?! Awesome!!

  • hadn't thought about it... how much would you pay?!?!

  • does it make any difference the colour of the blocks?

  • Yes- the different colors represent different notes. The blocks have resistors inside them, which the sequencer uses to identify them. Blocks of the same color have the same value resistor inside.
