  • @koioo2 The Lancer model name was only used in 1961 and '62, and it was resurrected in 1985 for several years. The original featured here was the Dodge version of the Valiant.

  • A great car, an 'upscale' version of the 1962 Plymouth Valiant. Great compact cars ahead of their time in styling and features.

  • How much is that car???

  • that looks like a slant 6 engine if I'm not mistaken

  • @koioo2

The name Lancer was used by Dodge from 1955 to 1959 to designate both two and four door pillarless hardtop models in the Coronet, Royal and Custom Royal lines, it was dropped for 1960, but it made a return in 1961 as Dodge applied the Lancer nameplate to its higher-priced, upmarket badge-engineered clone of Chrysler's Valiant compact, you don't see many Valiants or Lancers, but partnered Chrysler and Mitsubishi would later on use this name, with Mitsubishi finally taking the name over,

  • This was the Dodge Version of the Plymouth Valiant (in later years they changed the name to a car you probably heard of, the Dodge Dart).

Almost but not as ugly as today's Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger.

  • i never heard of this type dodge
