@swbsws I know what gat means. Im not fucking retarded. And I know it's for everyone. But MOST (notice I didn't say all) Conservatives would usually snub their nose at this and call us idiots. I just think maybe he doesn't understand it. That's all. Maybe he does. I will never know because I am not him. But it's whatever.

@swbsws Actually Publishers think that it belongs to only them and try to rip bands off. The 80s/90s are good examples of corporate record companies taking advantage of bands. Hell, John Melloncamp owes anything he will ever write to his label because of a contract he signed. True bands and musicians and record labels like Fat Wreck Chords, are okay so long as you don't claim to be the original lyric writer, etc. Music is for everyone, but The bands deserve their credit too.

Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it. Just because folks like gangster rap does not mean they have to sell crack or shoot their gat (slang, meaning gun).
